Flooring is a significant investment in your institution’s space

In today’s commercial interior design, we are being offered a wide variety of flooring products which should be carefully selected to make sure they perform accordingly to your space’s needs.

For entry areas and break rooms we recommend using more durable materials like LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile) which replicate hard surface flooring materials such as stone or wood. LVT has softer surface than porcelain tile and is less expensive to install. LVT is easy to clean and it has sound reducing properties.

What is the best?

In commercial spaces broadloom is not used as commonly in the past. Today we have many options for use of high-performing carpet tiles, planks, and even more complex geometric shapes which provide the best long-term value and visually pleasing results for application. The additional advantage of using carpet tile is that that can be easily replaced in a common case of damage. That’s why purchasing an attic stock is always a good idea.

Some tips for carpet choice for your space:

  • High-performance commercial carpet has a life expectancy of 10-30 years.

  • Dark & solid color carpet tend to show much more soiling.

  • For a typical private office or open office space we recommend neutral and medium tones of carpet with texture and a mélange of colors. This will prevent from showing soiling and dirt.

  • Why not to go a little bolder and use of uplifting colors in areas like conference rooms, social hubs to create visual stimulation.

  • Its easy to break a monotony of long corridor or an open office by introducing a pattern.
